What is a pre-order?
Pre-ordering allows you to order a product before it's available, based on release dates given to us by our suppliers. By ordering ahead of the release date, the item will automatically be sent to you once it's available and your credit card will be charged once it ships.

What is a backorder?
When a product is out of stock, you may be given the option to backorder it. Once the item is back in stock, your order will automatically be sent to you and your credit card will be charged at that time.

How do pre-orders and backorders affect shipping?
In both pre-order and backorder situations, your order will be shipped as soon as the fulfillment center that services your area receives it. You will also receive a shipping notification email when your order ships.

When am I charged for items that are pre-ordered or backordered?
You will be asked for your credit card when you place your order to reserve the item. However, you will not be charged until the item is actually shipped to your address.

What if the price of the product changes before it becomes available?
Sometimes pre-order or backorder prices can change. Our low price guarantee policy will ensure that you are charged the lowest price for both pre-orders and backorders, even if the release-date price is higher than when you reserved the item.

Can I cancel my pre-ordered or backordered items?
Yes. You can do so by sending us an email using the form on the contact page. Please send all information necessary to track your order.

Can the release dates change?
Yes. Sometimes suppliers change release dates for a product, and we will notify you via email if that happens. If the release date changes without notification, your pre-order will be kept open for another 30 days. If no more information about a date is available within those 30 days, we are required by law to cancel your pre-order. You will never be charged for the item until it's shipped to you.

Does my backorder ever expire?
Yes. If the item you ordered is not in stock within 60 days, we are required by law to cancel your order.
